New Year’s greetings for 2025
Happy New Year!
Thank you very much for the exceptional kindness and support last year.
Looking back on 2024, I feel that it was a year in which cyber attacks became apparent in various parts of Japan. Regardless of company size or industry, we were all made to think strongly about the importance of security, and I think that Japan as a whole realized that cyber attacks are not something that happens far away, but something that is very close at hand.
As various incidents were reported even during the year-end and New Year holidays, it is clear that cyber attacks will continue to be an increasing threat to companies in 2025 and beyond. In particular, it is becoming increasingly recognized that authentication that relies solely on passwords is insufficient for protection against attacks. Against the backdrop of such an increase in attacks, we expect the introduction of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in Japanese companies to accelerate in the future. We also believe that the fact that various cloud services are starting to mandate the adoption of MFA will also help to drive the adoption of MFA.
In this environment, we will continue to provide services that enable robust security incorporating MFA, and we will do our utmost to protect important information assets, while also supporting our customers in creating roadmaps for the introduction of MFA.
As one of the initiatives to achieve this, we started offering a new plan for our IDaaS product CloudGate UNO, called “CloudGate UNO Super Secure Pack”, on October 21st last year. This plan not only addresses potential security risks associated with password authentication, but also enhances user convenience.
The threat of cyber attacks will continue in the future, but we will continue to make use of the know-how we have gained from providing services under the motto of “Security First” and strive to “protect our customers’ information assets with all our might” as a trusted partner in 2025, so we ask for your continued support.
